Attracting Honey Bees to your Garden
Here are some tips that will help you attract honey bees:

  • Bees like flowers that are white, blue, violet, and yellow.  They also like fragrant flowers.
  • Planting flowering vegetables and trees also help
  • Stop using pesticides and herbicides.  The pesticides now used are so toxic that one drop can kill a whole bee hive.  One drop of certain pesticides can kill up to 10,000 bees
  • Bees need a constant supply of water but if you set out water, make sure it is in a bee friendly feeder because bees going to a water source can drown if it is not correctly set.
